Based on the reviews, Sogno Toscano seemed like a great place to visit for a weekday lunch! I stopped by recently and found seating outside (there are both indoor and outdoor options). Service was efficient, and I liked that they offered a variety of sandwich options. They also offer breakfast options until early afternoon. I ended up ordering a lunch special, which offers half of a sandwich and either a soup or salad. I got the Bologna sandwich, which comes with mortadella, pesto, arugula, and stracciatella cheese. I liked the sandwich and enjoyed the artichoke hearts and tomato in the side salad. In terms of value, it was pricey but tasty (and the price point is probably comparable given where it's located in Santa Monica).

I love it here!! Little slice of italy right on Montana ave. The vibe of the patio is so lovely and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I somehow can never find a classic prosciutto melon on italian menus here, so this satisfied my craving! the contadina sandwich with eggplant was delicious, every bite was fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough!
